NRS6252: Client experienced S0C4 Abend in TNZNCS

Commentary

Thursday, February 1, 2001 at 10:39:38 am    Network Center abended with S0C4 Abend in TNZNCS. Recommended a restart of the Network Center Exit and requested that dump be sent in for analysis.

Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 01:13:02 pm    Received dump but tape was in compressed format which we cannot read. Asked client if he could send another tape in uncompressed format.

Monday, February 26, 2001 at 04:50:13 pm    Abend was occurring in Asynchronous message routine when trying to acquire an AME. PCBAME anchor was being corrupted because of concurrent access by different tasks. Logic is corrected by PTF TNC17570 to acquire another AME block if AME chain is exhausted during AME request.
